Please join us in helping the homeless population in Walnut Creek get through the winter by providing a hot dinner meal, before sleeping at the Shelter (Armory).

  • We will be serving dinners first Friday of the month from Jan – April..

  • The general process is to have 10 volunteers per session who will work as a team to purchase the meal, prepare the food on-site, serve and eat with the Trinity Center members, and then briefly clean up.

  • We will provide the menu, divide it up among the team, and have a leader on-site to help organize the evening.

  • Your responsibility will be to buy your portion of the meal, help with any of the preparation or serving needed, join for dinner, listen to or tell some stories, make some new friends, and generally share the love that Jesus has shown us.

  • We choose “easy to prepare” meals and generally arrive at the Center (1888 Trinity Avenue
Walnut Creek, CA 94596) around 4:30 to begin prepping the dinner.

  • Due to new food safety regulations, all food must be prepared at the Trinity Center, nothing prepared beforehand.

  • Dinner is served around 5:30, we’re encouraged to eat and join the guests, and then clean up when all are done.

  • The guests are then bused to the Shelter at 7:00

Hope to have you join your fellow OTC members, as we seek to serve and bless the community around us.
